Essential Personal Watercraft Accessories
Your personal watercraft (PWC) is your ticket to spring and summer fun on the water. While your PWC likely already has several great features to make your rides safe and comfortable, there are some accessories you’ll want to get to enhance your experience. Here are the items we recommend as your local PWC dealer.
Anchor
If you want to stop on the water to relax in the sunshine or take a swim, then you need a way to keep your PWC in place. A small anchor can stow easily in your PWC’s storage compartment and be ready for you to toss in the water. You can choose between screw anchors and fluke anchors. This item is also handy if your PWC breaks down and you need to keep yourself in one place until someone can rescue you.
Dock Lines
When you’re launching your PWC alone or parking it at a dock, you need a way to keep it in place. Dock lines, especially bungee cords, make it fast and easy to lash your PWC to the dock so that it stays in place. These lines are thick polypropylene braids that offer the strength needed to hold your personal watercraft. Look for a rope that is about 12 feet long and create a loop at the end for your PWC.
Wetsuit
If you’re riding on a cold day or concerned about falling in the water, a wetsuit will help keep you warm and dry. Wetsuits are insulating and have the added benefit of protecting your skin from sun damage so you don’t have to keep reapplying sunscreen.
